Privacy & Data Handling

Our posture
StateGov serves government-affairs professionals who handle confidential client work. We treat your data accordingly: we keep it first-party, collect the minimum needed to run the product, and we do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
The marketing site (stategov.io)
This site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that count page views and referring sources in aggregate. It does not set tracking cookies, does not build advertising profiles, and does not identify individual visitors. The site also loads web fonts and a styling library from their providers, which receive your IP address as part of normal web delivery.
The product (app.stategov.io and the StateGov mobile app)
Inside the product we do not run third-party product analytics or session recording. Your legislative profiles, watchlists, briefings, and the bills and clients you track stay in our own database and are never sent to an outside analytics processor. Authentication is handled by Clerk; billing, when active, by Stripe.
The StateGov mobile app (iOS and Android) follows the same posture: it collects nothing beyond what is listed below, shows no ads, and does not access your location, contacts, photos, or microphone. The legislative information in the app (bills, votes, hearings, campaign finance filings) is public record from official State of Arkansas sources.
